I also wanted to purchase a new pair of glasses but at that point I decided to go to a more professional store.
Today I went to Walmart Eyeglass Department in Leland, NC., I didn''t expect first class service there but I never felt so ignored anywhere.
I will not go back to Walmart Eyeglass department as long as the above mentioned clerk works there.
I am giving it one star because it won't register with zero stars.
I bought a humidifier for my son at 2:30 in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helping me find what I needed and quick to get me in and out. I fell asleep in the parking lot at that time at night because they were two police officers park nearby

I waisted almost an hour for a 30 second job that could have been done rightaway by someone less lazy than this women.
The people are hit or miss, but it's relatively clean and well-stocked. They've started carrying more foods for people with certain dietary needs. I can really appreciate that.
Great prices, bustling and convenient yet the most downbeat (even the employees seemed affected) Wal-Mart I have ever visited. Needs an upgrade as the stores in Wilmington received in the past few years.
I had to wait 50 minutes for a clerk to help me, she was pretending to work on her computer, stood next to a women who couldn't decide which $12.00 frame she wanted and back to the computer. Finally, probably out of excuses for doing nothing and not helping me she addressed my need for a screw on my glasses.
They have everything. Well, almost. Great pricing. The walk around the store is hard on those floors, though. For the time & distance they need a more forgiving walking surface or places to sit a minute. Hard to find staff if you need something. Clearly they are doing their best to control prices but if they treated staff better their customer happiness would be much higher.
