The reviews for this hotel don’t exaggerate the quality of their product. The whole staff is very warm and welcoming. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offers something for everyone. The location is close to shopping and restaurants, as well as easy access across the river to Wilmington.
Great place to stay. Clean and pleasant. I stayed for business and everyone was accommodating. The friendliest staff you could ask for. The breakfast they offer leaves you ready for the day. It's a hot bar that changes daily. Will definitely stay again if I return.
I called this Best Western in Leland, NC this morning to cancel a reservation I made for tonight, because the location did NOT turn out to be convenient. The particular manager at this location apparently chose 48 hrs as a required cancellation period. Anything less, the customer still pays for the room. In my experience, that is NOT a standard motel/hotel cancellation policy. While they admit it was not explained during booking, they claim it was sent in an e-mail and that is sufficient. This will be a financial burden, and I am very disappointed.
This hotel is nice. It is like brand new and the staff is very nice and very helpful. It is right outside of the development we are building a house in so it made it very easy to go back and forth. The breakfast is nice. If I was to improve anything is I would like to see more dog friendly rooms and be able to go into a suite where there is more room. Oh great showers by the way. I hate bathtub showers and they have shower stalls! I love it.
We were in town for a funeral. We had a large group and a lot of rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They also have a really great breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had kids with us and they enjoyed the pool. Great hotel.
