Drove here because every place in Wilmington was not up to par. I'm very satisfied here. Breakfast was good and the rooms were great. The ceilings are high and the rooms are clean! Comfort Suites in Wilmington on Market Street is a roach infested hotel! Stay away! Holiday Inn Express is 100x better! I'll drive for peace of mind!
They're always doing renovations to upgrade the hotel. Right now they're doing the second floor and trying to find a better way of doing things always. Have a great Lobby and the staff is very friendly
The room had 2 double beds and a couch, spacious for an overnight on our route 17 road trip. Oversleeping and nearing missing breakfast, the attendant helped us out and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the outside patio. The pool and fitness room are tight off the patio also, for your enjoyment. The lesson by was delightfully trendy furnished like a posh hotel. I wish we had more time to just hang out.
This is a great Holiday Inn. The nicest and cleanest one I have ever stayed at. The rooms are large and updated with nice furnishings and granite counter tops. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was the best I have seen at any hotel. Definitely recommend.
Nice place, with large room, but the bed was crammed nearly to the wall, so close, I kept hitting the AC unit getting in an out of the bed. Breakfast was ok, but nothing exceptional. Expected better from Holiday Inn.
