If you cant pay the full amount up front, they will offer you a credit program known as "Care Credit" and herein lies the problem.

It is always a good experience, from the arrival to the prompt service with friendly technician.
It has a 1 star rating on "Consumer Affairs"
Plus they have a 26.99% interest rate if the full balance is not paid off in the prescribed time limit. (Sounds like a great company to do business with, right?)
But now for the bad.

The staff is always professional and friendly and is ready for you on time for your appointment.
After recently moving to the area, and being very happy with our old dentist of 10 years, we selected BlueWave Dentistry as our new provider. We were very pleased with the friendly atmosphere, the modern practice and the careful attention to our needs. While only a first appointment it was an excellent start!
Oh, and one last thing about Care Credit. Doctors have to pay to use the service, but if they get enough costumers to sign up, they are refunded and sometimes even payed out money from Care Credit. Think of it as a "kickback" for doing business. (Yes, like the old mobster/loan shark kind of deal. Making you an offer you cant refuse, well you can, if you want your health to suffer.)
I feel like this should be 2 reviews, one on the care you receive here and one on the financial side. Hence the 2 stars. Care=5 stars Financials= -3 star.
First the good. The care you receive here is top notch, Dr. Sweeney has got to be the top dentist I've ever been too. Plus, all the equipment is state of the art. All the latest tech and dental tools make for a great relaxing experience.
Bluewave has a policy that all dental services be paid for after the service is rendered. So if you have a $3000 procedure, all of that has to be paid in full at the time of the service. Then Bluewave will file with your insurance.
Wonderful doctors and staff!! Top notch.
This credit company had to pay $34.1 million back to consumers for deceptive health care credit card enrollment/deceptive lending practices.
A little information on Care Credit;
I'm never going back to this practice again, even though the care is great. I can find similar care at other dentists in the area that will work with me on my finical options and not suggest I go through a criminal enterprise to get the dental care I need.
