My kids love her. I know my kids are safe and in caring capable hands while she is treating them. I would use her myself but I'm exceptionally happy with him.
I first came to Leland family in January. Due to my lifetime of excessive soda drinking, I had a mouth full of cavities! During my first appointment, the hygienist was very dedicated on improving my oral health; the doctor explained my treatment and well educated me on the cons of sodas and it's domino effect. As I had to return for multiple visits to complete my treatment, the assistants really did a great job making me feel comfortable and they let me watch everything they did to prepare for the doctor. Very fascinating!! Now that my treatment is completed, I am now on a great oral health path and will continue to use them as my primary dentist! I highly recommend this office for your cleaning and treatment needs.
Do not go here!!! The dentist and staff were friendly, but the work they do is very sloppy. I had to get a filling replaced. After they replaced my filling, I felt constant pressure and pain in that area. I went to them 3 times and they kept on saying it was a bite problem, but the pain and irritation persisted. I finally got a second opinion and the dentist found that it was not my bite, but the filling itself. When I went to get the filling replaced, she found that the filling from Leland Family Dentistry had been over filled and had a huge air bubble in it, which was causing the pain I was in. This simple filling became a three month ordeal that could have been avoided if Leland Family Dentistry weren't so sloppy with their dental work and actually cared and listened to the pain I was in. They do not care about their patients, they only care about money.
The staff was great! From the time I walked I the doors, I felt like I was treated like a person and not just another patient. The Doctor was amazing. She took the extra time out of her day to make sure I fully understood the deal work needed. She went above and beyond by calling and assisting in scheduling a surgical procedure that I needed to have done. I have to admit I was nervous about going to the dentist but, I can truly say this place Rocks. My entire family are now patients and all of them have been extremely happy with the Doctor and staff. *very kid friendly!!
Dr. Holmes' bedside manner is absolutely wonderful and her ability to give painless shots in the gums, makes her a Superhero (in my mind at least
